Owner’s guide · Maintenance

No engine means a much shorter service list. Here is what’s left on it.

Short answer

The STAG Beetle 100 has no engine oil, DEF, coolant, fuel filters or air filters to service. What remains is a smaller hydraulic system (filters, fluid and hoses), grease points, tracks, pins and bushings. STAG estimates maintenance at $0.93 an hour against $3.73 for a comparable diesel mini loader. Parts ship from STAG’s Indiana warehouses.

What you skip

  • Engine oil and filter
  • Fuel and air filters
  • Coolant and radiator
  • DEF
  • Belts
  • About 70% of the hydraulic hoses, per STAG

What you still do

  • Hydraulic filters, fluid and hose checks
  • Grease points
  • Track tension and wear, pins and bushings
  • Attachment inspection
  • Keep the charger and outlet in good condition

Warranty and parts

The machine carries 2 years or 2,000 hours of coverage and the battery 3 years or 3,000 hours. Telematics send fault codes, and parts ship from Indiana.
