Livestock · Small farms
One machine for barn chores, fence posts, gardens and snow, charged from an outlet in the garage.
Short answer
For a hobby farm or homestead, the STAG Beetle 100 offers one machine that handles barn cleanout, bedding, fence posts, garden beds, firewood and snow. It charges from a standard 110V outlet overnight and is quiet enough for close neighbors. Its $56,900 MSRP is high for occasional use, so the case is strongest where it works most days.
Jobs it fits
Clean out a small barn or coop, move bedding and compost, drill fence posts, build raised beds, move firewood on pallet forks and clear snow. All through one standard CII plate.
Charging at home
No special charger is needed. A standard 110V/15A outlet charges it in about 8 hours. STAG estimates 3.0 kWh per working hour, about 44 cents of electricity at STAG’s default rate.
Does the math work?
The fuel and maintenance savings grow with hours. At 100 hours a year STAG’s figures save about $730 a year; at 500 hours, about $3,650. Run your own numbers in the calculator. Remote control and no exhaust can matter as much as cost on a small place.

Questions
Where should I charge it on the farm?
Any standard 110V/15A outlet charges it in about 8 hours. Use a properly rated GFCI circuit in a dry spot, and have an electrician check barn wiring before you plan on nightly charging.
