Feed push-up, free-stall alleys, bedding and calf pens: short jobs repeated every day, in enclosed air.
Short answer
The STAG Beetle 100 handles the small, repeated loader jobs on a dairy: pushing feed up to the bunk, scraping free-stall alleys, bedding stalls and cleaning calf pens. With no engine it adds no exhaust to barn air, which matters most in enclosed calf and veal barns where ammonia often already runs above 25 ppm. It does not replace a full-size loader at the silage face.
Jobs it fits
Feed push-up. Feed that stays within reach keeps cows eating, so most dairies push up feed several times a day. With a feed pusher blade, a stand-on machine does a pass in minutes. Between passes it draws almost no power, so the 8-hour battery rating covers a full day of stop-and-go work.
Alley scraping. A rubber-edged scraper on the CII plate clears free-stall alleys and crossovers.
Bedding. Sand, sawdust and straw move by bucket to stalls and pens.
Calf barns. Clean pens between groups. The 35.6 in. narrow-track width fits standard doors.
Why exhaust matters in calf barns
Unbedded calf and veal barns commonly run ammonia above 25 ppm, the 8-hour working limit cited in the Canadian livestock-barn factsheet. In winter, with curtains closed, a diesel loader adds carbon monoxide to air that is already loaded. A battery loader adds none.
Where it stops
Loading TMR mixers from a bunker, working the silage face and handling heavy round bales all need more than about 1,090 lb of rated capacity. Most dairies that add a Beetle 100 keep a full-size loader for those jobs and move the barn chores to the electric machine.

Questions
Can the Beetle 100 push feed every few hours on one charge?
Short, repeated passes suit an electric machine because it uses almost nothing while parked. STAG rates the battery for about an 8-hour workday. Track your own use for a week with the built-in telematics.
Where should I charge it on the farm?
Any standard 110V/15A outlet charges it in about 8 hours. Use a properly rated GFCI circuit in a dry spot, and have an electrician check barn wiring before you plan on nightly charging.
Can I wash it down after scraping manure?
Electrical parts are IP67 sealed against dust and temporary immersion. IP67 is not a high-pressure washdown rating, so ask your dealer about washing procedures.
