Short answer
On beef cattle operations, the STAG Beetle 100 fits calving barns, working facilities, feed bunk cleanup, fence post augering and light bale handling. Its rated capacity of about 1,090 lb rules out heavy round bales. For open-lot and pasture work far from power, a combustion machine is often still the practical choice.

Charging away from the yard
STAG says the Beetle 100 can charge from a jobsite generator. For regular pasture work, charge overnight at the shop and plan the day around an 8-hour battery.

Questions
Can it handle round bales?
Only light ones. Many round bales weigh 800 to 1,500 lb or more, and the rated capacity is about 1,090 lb.
Where should I charge it on the farm?
Any standard 110V/15A outlet charges it in about 8 hours. Use a properly rated GFCI circuit in a dry spot, and have an electrician check barn wiring before you plan on nightly charging.
