Industrial · Basements

A confined space with one way in and no airflow is the worst place for an engine.

Short answer

STAG lists basement work among the Beetle 100’s core uses. In a basement, a combustion engine builds up carbon monoxide fast. The Beetle 100 has no engine, is 35.6 in. wide on narrow tracks and can be run by remote. It handles slab breakout, dig-outs and debris removal.

Jobs it fits

Break out and remove basement slabs, dig out to lower a floor, and haul debris to the exit.

Getting in and out

Plan access before the job. The machine weighs 3,240 lb, and stairs are not an option. Use a walkout, a ramp, or a lift rated for the load.
