Applications · Industrial and indoor

STAG built the Beetle 100 for jobs a diesel can’t do: indoor demolition, food processing and basements. Here is what that looks like on site.

Short answer

STAG names indoor demolition, food processing and basement work as the Beetle 100’s core uses. Zero exhaust means no carbon monoxide to ventilate. A 35.6 in. width gets it through standard doors, and remote control up to 200 ft lets the operator stand clear of debris. It charges from an ordinary 110V outlet, so no special infrastructure is needed on site.

Food processing

Diesel and propane exhaust is a problem anywhere food is handled. An electric loader moves ingredients, totes, waste and spent product without combustion by-products. The sealed IP67 chassis helps in wet areas. Confirm sanitation and washdown procedures with your dealer and your food safety plan before the machine goes into a production room.

Indoor demolition and renovation

With a hydraulic breaker on the CII plate, the Beetle 100 breaks out slabs and walls, then switches to a bucket to haul out debris. Remote operation keeps the operator out of the drop zone. STAG’s founders cite rising restrictions on diesel equipment in large cities as a key reason buyers are asking for electric.

Basements, warehouses and plants

The narrow width clears 36 in. doors. Six independent speed presets for drive and hydraulics let the operator slow it down for tight, precise work around racking, equipment and people.

Fleet and rental

Built-in 4G/satellite telematics report location, hours, battery health and fault codes. Inclinometers log tip events. STAG’s founders say rental companies valued this most, because they can see where a machine is and how it was used.

Noise reference: CPWR measured operator sound at about 85 dBA on two full-size diesel skid steers. STAG lists the Beetle 100 under 70 to 75 dBA. The machines are different sizes, so treat this as context, not a head-to-head test.
